I love working without rushing whenever possible.
I love falling in love — not so much falling out of it.
I love beautiful people and long conversations over a good glass of wine.
I love sharing laughter and a good sense of humor.
I love the natural, the imperfect, and everything that isn’t forced.
I love intimacy and trust.
I love waking up slowly with the sunlight.
I love the sound of the sea.
I love the summer sun, and I love the rain at any time of year.
I love getting goosebumps, and I love shedding a tear of emotion.
That’s me, and that’s how I try to be behind the camera.
And that’s also why HYGGE — a word I fell in love with the moment I saw it.
I feel so connected to it, so deeply HYGGE, that I couldn’t have chosen any other name.
HYGGE is a way of living, a mindset, a lifestyle embraced by the people of Denmark.
They say HYGGE makes homes warmer and people happier.
If you ask a Dane what HYGGE means, they’ll probably say something like:
“It’s sitting by the fireplace on a cold night, wearing a thick wool sweater, sipping warm spiced wine, and petting your dog curled up next to you.”
It’s about finding the coziest corner of your home, spending time with loved ones, and letting go of obligations.
HYGGE can be a meal shared with family and friends, in a softly lit dining room.
Or it can be the time you spend alone, reading a good book.
It works best when there’s not too much empty space between people — when everything feels close, warm, connected.
The idea is to relax and feel “at home” as much as possible — to forget about the worries of life.
And that’s exactly how I’d love you to feel on your wedding day: relaxed, happy, and fully present.
